A clinical evaluation of the congenital malformations


Abstract
Fifty--eight monsters (0.97%) of the 6007 deliveries from October 1970 to October. 1975 through the six year duration were reported from the Dept. of Obstetric & Gynecology at the Medical College Hospital of the Korea University.
The sex ratio was male 26 cases (44.8%) and female 32 cases (44.8%) and female 32 cases (55.2 %) The mortality rate of the congenital malformation was 58.5% (34 cases), in which the central Nervous system defects was 43% (25 cases) of the 58 cases and 22 cases of these were death.
Term delivery were 32 cases, at rest were studied prematurities (17 case) and immaturities (9 case).
Congenital malformation was high in para 1 and 30-34 years old age of the maternal age.
In this report, congenital malformations were diagnosed on inspection autopsies and x-ray, ausculations.
